The campground is beautiful overlooking the lake and well kept. Most all sites are shaded and level on concrete pads. The one item that is a problem, for 2 reasons, is the locking of the gate with no entry or exit after 10:30pm. First, this is a big deal and the office should remind campers of this at check-in and there should be a big sign that is very obvious during check-in. Yes it is in No.4 font toward the bottom of your confirmation email and yes there is a tiny sign exiting the park stating the gate closes at 10:30. My bad for missing both but very easy to do especially if you have a number of reservations you have booked for the future. We were visiting family and had been to a Braves game and got locked out for the night. Even if we had known we shouldn’t have to pass up an activity whereby you cannot arrive after 10:30. Fortunately we had our dog with us and had family to go back to for the night. Secondly, this is a safety hazard. If there was an emergency during the night you could not get out and emergency personnel could not get in without finding or waking camp hosts to go to the gates and unlock the pad locks and chain. Not sure how emergency personnel would even know where they are?? This would of course lose valuable time in an emergency. We are full time RVers and have stayed all over the country and only seen this situation where there was no access code one other time. The CG is in the back of a neighborhood with little or no security issues so do not understand this procedure. Other than that, this is a fantastic COE campground.

Our first weekend camping of the 2022 season. Bald Ridge thankfully has new attendants and they were pleasant and welcoming. Our site was beautiful and relaxing. A little disappointed that no work was done in the bathhouse /restrooms over the down season .

The campground host makes the experience good or bad. My host was GREAT! She was so friendly. I still wish there was a limit on dogs. The barking does get bad at times. I enjoyed the camping.

Beautiful park. Most sites are on the water. Gorgeous views! Peaceful quiet and relaxing. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We visited nearby Dahlonega, a cute mountain town known for its gold mining history. Would most deffinitely return!

Bald Ridge Creek Campground is the best on Lake Lanier. We have been camping all around the lake for years and we always come back to Bald Ridge Creek. It is a great location, many of the sites are lake side, the staff has always been great. There are stores and restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute drive if needed. We highly recommend this campground but be sure to book early because it fills up fast.

This COE was beautiful and spacious! All sights, minus a few in the interior, have lake views! We never felt like we were that close to our neighbors. Lots of elbow room! The bathhouse was clean and tidy and very handy! It accommodated our large 43 foot rig just fine!
