The experience was our best in fourteen years. The campground hosts, Joe and Gail were helpful and professional in every way.

I was very surprised to find out that Bald Ridge Creek campgrounds is located in the middle of a residential subdivision! It's a bit tricky locating the actual park entrance, as the narrow road leading to the main gate is on the opposite side of a crested intersection and not very well marked. I have to confess, I struggled locating the entrance a few times after returning from my outings. Add darkness and rain and it could be even more confusing! With that being said, the park is beautiful and well worth the somewhat tricky entrance. The gate attendants were very gracious and helpful. The sites were very private and the parking pads were level. We stayed in site #77 for 3 nights and site #73 for 3 additional nights. We will definitely be back as this campground offers a 50% discount on stays with the America the Beautiful pass, is only 40 miles from Helen, GA (Oktoberfest!) and the city of Cumming, GA has several great restaurants and big box stores off Exit 14.

From the front gate to our site was just awesome. Everything about it was great. However, there was a dog yapping quite a bit. Not the campground’s fault!
