Sawnee

One of the most beautiful campsites we ever had, right on the water. Very friendly camp host, Jim Hughes, asked us if we needed to purchase firewood despite our very late arrival (10 p.m.) due to an accident outside Atlanta. He opened the wood shed to accommodate us, and we were so appreciative that we were able to have a campfire for an hour before retiring. We booked the site last minute since we were unable to travel to a different campground we originally booked. It happened to be the last site available, #18, probably due to someone else's cancellation. What a "WOW" morning we had when we looked out our windows to the magnificent water view! Jim told us when we checked out that this site is usually difficult to get. We really felt blessed. Wish we could've stayed longer. Next time!

Love it, great view of the lake

Great campground on lake Lanier.

The campground looked clean but the dumpster and garbage smelled awful. We didn’t like that our site #34 was so far from water. And you could hear traffic passing along the road. It was loud on weekday mornings.

Enjoyed the park and views. Hosts were great! Everything is clean. Looking forward to our next stay.

Sites near the road are a little bit noise during the day but quiets down at night. Also the sites near the road do not have lake views.

Site was near the hosts and very deep. But didn't have a view of the lake and a little road noise during the day.

This is a great campground! The hosts are all extremely friendly and everyone there is friendly as well! It’s beautiful!

Park was very clean and well maintained. Only difficulty was updating online reservations.
