Another camping 🏕 trip down.
Wanted to share our experience and hike.
We camped as Desoto Falls. We stayed in Campsite 23. The campsite alone was wonderful. The creek flow from the waterfall is right there. We also had campsite 22 with family there as well. Plenty of room if you are setting up more than one tent ⛺️ like we did.
Okay here comes the sad part..... you can hear ever person speeding/ racing through on Blood mtn. That was not great.
There is vaulted 🚽 in the bathrooms near the campsite. There is 🚿 showers and normal 🚽near the entrance. Is not a bad walk.
The road is paved. Some of the sites I did notice was hard to get into on the upper part.
Wood 🪵 is at sunrise grocery if you need. Im not sure if you are looking from the lumpkin co side of blood mtn.
There is no service. Which was not a big deal. Just giving a heads up incase you maybe expecting it.

Nice campground. Avoid sites 5-7 because they’re right next to the highway. Traffic noise is pretty bad. Best sites are on the inner side of the loop. Great camp host!

Great location, marginal Wi-Fi. If you need 5G this is not your park. Beautiful surroundings

It was amazing. I know yall know this, but there is a downed tree that ruined the lower waterfall watching spot.
