Remote campground down a lengthy gravel road. Site 2 was a great spot. Be careful of nails in the tree in the middle area of the site. Perfect spot for hammock. Relatively quiet spot, with half dozen other groups. Rained most of the first night, and overcast most of the next day. Didn't realize it was directly on the AT, but the trail around the lake was all I went on. Good campground to get away.

I really enjoyed this campsite. I stayed one night and it was so nice. It was almost empty (only me and 2 other groups). It is very pretty being right on the water. Additionally, the fishing is really nice as well, and I caught a couple of trout. Will be staying here again.

Love how remote this campground is. There is a great hiking trail attached and very spacious lots. There is also a pond to fish and kayak in. However, there was a lot of trash in my lot this time. It wasn't like this the first time so hopefully it won't be next time.

Came for a weekend getaway. Was great, only had 2 other campers. We went up the hill to hike Preachers Rock. Did not get to hike Dockery Trail due to hunting and having dogs with no orange. Maybe next time.
