Great Campground Quite and Great Location! The sewer clean out area was very clean and everything serviceable. The Camp host was Friendly and available but not pesty! Often times camp host are the biggest violators with junk all around their camper but not here! Great job

Doll Mountain Campground is our annual fall destination since we began camping about 8 years ago. Before that we rented cabins in the Ellijay area. Like every other COE Campground we've visited, the campsites are large and level. All have concrete parking pads, and surfaced campsites (either gravel or 2x6 decks depending on the site you choose). Campers and staff have always been friendly and helpful. The surrounding landscape and Carters Lake are gorgeous and deer are plentiful. We even saw an 8-point buck this year inside the campground. The bathhouses are clean and in working order with plenty of hot water. The one nearest the gate has individual shower rooms protected by locking doors for safety and peace of mind.
We love everything about Doll Mountain and would call it perfect if the sites had sewer hook-ups. The well-maintained dump station is the next best thing. So we highly recommend Doll Mountain Campground and the surrounding Georgia Mountains. If you go, visit Tumbling Waters Trail, Merciers Orchards, BJ Reece Orchards, Amicalola Falls (try the zip lining), and Burts Pumpkin Farm (Fall only). Blue Ridge Railway is fun and the towns of Dahlonega and Helen while a bit of a scenic drive, are worth the time. If you like to fish, book a charter with the Fish Slayer (Len Slay). You won't be disappointed My friends and I have caught five striped bass (all over 30 inches long) and lots of spotted bass while fishing with Len. There's more to do and see around North Georgia and Doll Mountain Campground is a great base camp from which to make your daily excursions.
Maybe we'll meet you on our next trip!

This campground is amazingly beautiful, well laid out, and very spacious so you have a lot of privacy at many sites. Camp host was very nice and on top of things. I didn’t use the facilities but from the outside they seemed clean. Will definitely return!

Easy check-in easy checkout. Site was clean and ready for arrival. Saw park host clean and ready sites for next arrivals as soon as campers left. Short but enjoyable camping trip

One of my favorite campgrounds. Sites are very private and well spaced. Everything is very well managed and clean. Kudos to the volunteer team that do the hard work.

Very nice park, as it is always clean and well taken care of by the hosts. My only complaint is the reservation service is always booked on weekends. They should set aside sites for people that want to stay 7 to 14 days and not allow weekenders to stay for two days only.

The bath house is too far away from the campground. Other than that we love going there.

What an incredible campground!! Lots of hills, twisty roads, and trees! Site 46 is lovely. I'm not sure why it's advertised for max 26'. We had no problem backing our 25' Airstream in AND parked our long bed Chevy Duramax in front of the trailer. If you need more space, there's also additional parking beside the sight.
