What Guests Are Saying
Doll Mountain Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds and friendly, helpful hosts. Many visitors enjoyed spacious, private sites with stunning views of Carters Lake and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, as well as nearby attractions like Ellijay and Blue Ridge. However, some concerns were raised about parking difficulties, the distance to restrooms, and noise from other campers disrupting the tranquility. Overall, it is recommended as a great camping destination with a serene environment.

First time ever to be disappointed here. Not with the campground but that someone was allowed to come in not register and held up us from occupying our camp site till after 6:30 pm.

A lovely campground with each site having a great view! If you're towing the drive up and back down is not for the faint of heart, but the views are well worth it. We would recommend.

Site 20 is so beautiful BUT you must haul everything up and down a VERY steep hill about 1/4 mile. This is particularly difficult with firewood and cumbersome equipment. I would not recommend booking this site if you have small children or if you are elderly. This was our first time at Doll Mountain. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back but will book a different site next time. There are not bad views here. Clean, quite, and respectful campers. Overall a gem of a campground.

Lovely campground. Clean bathrooms with showers and hot water for washing hands. Site 49 is private and has a 360 view through the trees for sunsets and sunrises. Bring wood as it's a 30 min drive one way to Ellijay to buy any. (Foraging on site was good for a single night)

Clean, private site with a nice picnic table, firepit and deck nestled in the woods. Must drive or bike to beach. Close to a boat/kayak/canoe launch area. Peaceful and beautiful large lake with mountain views.

Very nice campground. Views are amazing. Well-planned. Great facilities. Loved sitting on a bluff over the lake by the firepit.
