We had a great time at Woodring Branch. We got the last available spot for memorial day weekend and I wasnt sure how great it would be. Turned out to be a spacious spot with direct(ish) access to the water. We had plenty of room for our camper and had a great time paddling around the lake. Easy access to the boat ramp, bathrooms were exceptionally clean, staff was wonderful. We will go back here for sure.

Lovely, well-maintained sites - clean gravel pad, grill, picnic table and fire ring all in great condition. We comfortably had 2 tents (3 person and 2 person) on the same pad with plenty of room. Bath house is immaculate (for a campground). The staff at the guard house was very friendly and helpful. The position of sites on the lake appears to be out of the way of the major boating thoroughfares; we had 8 year olds out on kayaks and paddleboards comfortably. Don't forget your life jackets!

This is a great place to camp. The the campground & bathrooms are super nice & the people who work there are way above average. The only thing that would make this park better is if it could be kept open until the end of October.
