Van Pugh is always clean and well maintained. I love the location situated right on Lake Lanier and it has all the amenities you could need for a nice camping experience. The only drawback to my most recent experience was that there were quite a lot of children running around. But that is to be expected. Just a tad too noisy this time around. But overall an excellent campsite.

Personnel were unfriendly and rude. Was trying to enjoy myself & they treated me poorly.

We use site #32 , it was nice view and location is great.
But daytime till late night, boat sound is loud and if you use a tent you must check weather for windy day, this site is very easy get wind. We were canceled one day stay cause too strong wind .
