This is a great campsite for anyone who wants some quiet time during the week, well maintained and clean. Occasionally, you will hear noise from boats, but not too offensive. During the weekend, we anticipate a lot more activities on the water and noise/music from the boats will definitely be an issue. Our site took sometime to level, but was worth it.
We have to give a shout out to Willie, the host we met at the gate checking in and out. He was friendly, patient, polite and helpful - a model host for any campsites. He and his wife were also quite diligent patrolling in the campground without being intrusive. We felt safe and looked after during our short stay.

We had a nice time for the first time out this year even though the weather was not the best. The rest rooms were relatively clean and the hosts were very helpful. We did have some louder than necessary next door neighbors who arrived late (after 9:30) the first night and stayed up late the second night. They drove in and out of their spot several times and did not use the best language, arguing among themselves most of the evening. The other campers we met were very nice and many would stop to chat.
