The sites were very clean and well maintained. Park rangers went above and beyond to deal with a yellow jacket nest that we encountered and even left a full can of bee spray in case we needed it.

Our AHG loved the location, with the Visitor's Center and Snodgrass Hill a short hike away, and the helpfulness of the staff. We would like to come back to discover more about the WAC area, too! The downsides included a campsite with very long grass, dead trees, widow-maker limbs, and a hiking path that went right through the middle of it. Next time we will send someone in advance to scout a good site. Also, the only area for cover from strong storms is the pit privy at night.

Need better pictures on the website of the campsites. I had to make a trip to confirm the layout of the campsites and spacing.

Troop 4075 completely enjoyed our experience at Chickamauga. The instructional video got us started, and then we hiked the Bragg Trail. Our kids loved it! The staff was so accommodating and helpful as well.
