The most beautiful campsite on the most perfect weekend! Went Oct 15-16th and the leaves were just about to start changing colors. The site is the closest to the parking area making it easy to set up your campsite. It sits overlooking the lake with gorgeous view. Site 37 is very close to the adjacent site - you can look right over at the next campsite so it's not the most private. If you had noisy neighbors you'd hear everything. Had a fire pit. Bit of a walk to the bathrooms, but they were clean and well maintained. Firewood was available for sale. We were able to set up a large tent on the platform and a smaller one next to it. Would love to come again with more friends and book multiple sites next to each other!

The grass wasn’t mowed like in the past. Only mowed close to site. I would not want a child get in the high grass because of snakes, etc. The park attendance was a little rude when asking about check out time. He let us know that at 1pm the gates would be locked since it was last day for the park to be open this year. I hope he didn’t lock anyone inside the park!

Grass hadn’t been cut, the bath houses were disgusting, had to stand water in the showers. That trash dumpsters were over flowing and trash was stacked all around the dumpster.

The campground use to be amazing. However, the grass hasn’t been cut in quite a while. Only a two foot swipe around each site has been cut. The trash dumpsters were overflowing and the bathrooms didn’t have any toilet paper. One host is very unfriendly and not helpful at all. Won’t be going back until things are corrected. Very disappointed since this was one of our favorite places to go.

Due to COVID-19, camper registration will take place through the gatehouse window. Upon arrival to the campground, please have your ID, license plate number, camping unit’s license plate number, site number, and discount pass (if applicable) ready to give the Park Attendant. Please approach the gatehouse slowly and bring your vehicle close to the window. At no point should you park and walk to the gatehouse window. Do not attempt to enter the gatehouse. |

Consecutive reservations under different names that exceed 14 days are not authorized and are subject to eviction and/or the issuance of a citation in accordance with Title 36 CFR 327.7 (b). |
