campsite was clean when we arrived. The campground was pretty full due the corp closing other campgrounds. I feel this is a mistake since it will cause increased wear and tear on bolding mill. The views from the lake are great and the area is very quiet. The only thing negative I can comment on is that it appears the grass has not been cut in quite awhile. It was over 2ft tall in some areas. Bathroom was kept clean during our stay. The dumpsters were in a good area and the surrounding area was clear of debris. The county road leading to bolding mill needs to be repaved, there is a large construction housing project just outside the campground and the heavy truck traffic is tearing the road up.

My son and I had a wonderful time on his very first camping trip. We had everything we needed for a great relaxing weekend.

I rated this campground with a good score. It did not get any higher due to the lack of ground maintenance. the sites were ok but the rest of the park was not. The grass was not mowed in the areas outside of the camp sites which made it very un appealing. This was our first visit to this park and we probably will not return. The 2 people in the check in were very pleasant. the whole time we were there I only saw one person taking care of the wash houses and she also was the only person taking care of the sites and being she was the only one doing this she did not have enough time to do it right. We have visited over 10 of the camping parks in the Lake Lanier and Lake Hartwell area and this one was the worse. Everyone else I rated EXCELLENT.
