We have a tent on a trailer that used to be on the back of our truck. We call it the Old Folks Condo in the Sky and boy did we have a few at our campsite. The lake was right there. Campsite was very large and clean. It is quiet in the evening and hardly any bugs. Lots of squirrels and jumping fish in the morning. Loved it.

One of the better trips we’ve had to this campground. I wanted drop my boat off prior to my camper on the day I had already paid for but one of the hostess stated the camper was supposed to occupy the site first even though the boat was not in the way of anyone.

The check in folks were not friendly and down right rude. They had an issues that my wife was not present when I checked in our camper. Yes married and same name. Never had an issue with any other camping ga.gov sites. They were just as rude when my wife checked in later that day!! Very unprofessional. They started spouting politics🤷♂️ Overall sites were fine ,clean as was the stay!!

Loved the campground. Site 61 was very clean big private and quiet. I would have given 5 stars but there was a huge ant problem. Hopefully it was just that site. It was annoying while camping and I brought a lot of ants home with me.

Nice big campsites. Easy access to the lake. Not a ton of things to do within the park. My review would be higher if it wasn't for the extremely RUDE campsite hosts working in the front check-in office. I was yelled at for not turning in my paper hang tag when we left. I think they forgot that I'm the customer. I'm sorry I forgot to turn in the paper hang tag. I didn't deserve to be yelled at because of it. Our kids were also yelled at several times. Probably won't return because of them.
