It was a great camping trip. Sites are large and mostly waterfront.

Bolding Mill was nice enough, the camp grounds were clean and the workers are chill. We did the tent-only walking camping, so I can't attest to the electric operated sites. There is only one bathroom facility, and it's near the front, which is kind of bothersome to get to when you pick a site further out. The day-use "beach" is hard, rocky concrete, and the lake itself is very oily from all the boats. We hung around the water a bit and let our dog play in it, but it wasn't super nice. I think this is a really cool place if you go out and launch a boat, go fishing, or do some partying on the water. But, since we didn't do that, it was very O K for a campsite. Some of the locals were setting off fireworks in the distance, which sounds horrific due to the acoustics of the lake. Most loud noises, including boats in the morning, have their sounds amplified by the lake. Too much light pollution from nearby residences, so not great star gazing either. This isn't anything the park can do, it's just something to be aware of if you are looking for a peaceful experience.

Clean campground, friendly, professional staff. Many sites right on the lake for fishing and kayaking. Most had adequate shade as well.
