sites are great, bath houses were too hot, people at the front gate are beyond rude and need to be replaced

Always a pleasure to camp at one of our favorite Corps parks. One of the best Corps parks on Lake Lanier.

I used to live in Atlanta and often went to this park. Since I retired 4 years ago we have been traveling full time and this is one of my favorite parks. Spacious and level sites with ample room. Any time we are near Atlanta we will stay here.

From Atlanta, GA, take SR 400 north to Exit 17, turn right on GA Hwy
306, turn right on GA Hwy 53, turn left on Old Sardis Rd, and turn left
on Chestatee Rd. Follow into campground.

- Register at the gatehouse window upon arrival with necessary documents.
- Gatehouse hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.
- The gates close at 10:30 p.m. and reopen at 7 a.m.
- Gatehouse staff cannot modify reservations due to limited internet access.
Safety & rules
- Alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
Fees & deposits
- No payments can be made at the gatehouse.
- Discount passes must be shown on arrival and are valid for one registered site only.

Local regulations
- Mail and food deliveries are not allowed; accept them outside the campground.
Cancellation policy
- No-shows will incur a full charge for their reservation.
Site capacity
- Campers may stay a maximum of 14 days within any 30-day period at USACE campgrounds on Lake Lanier.
- Overnight occupancy is required; day use is not allowed.
