Very well kept. Pay attention to the signs and it's easy to navigate. Don't let the numbers confuse you. Would recommend for casual weekend camping.

So far this is one of the nicer campgrounds, we have a pretty large camper trailer, and what I love most about Bolding Mill campgroud is the SPACING between RV/Camper Trailer "lots" or spaces. Absolutely hate being feet away from other people's campers and personal property, just as much as I do not like anyone being close or feet away from my camper or my personal property. So the space and privacy of the lots are my biggest compliment, and my second favorite thing that makes Bolding Mill different and stand out from all of the other campgrounds that we have visited and stayed at recently, is that they don't lock the gates until 10: 30pm here vs every other campground we have been to locks the gates at 10:00 p.m. on the DOT. So you get an extra 30 minutes in case you're running late or behind and don't have to worry about being or getting locked out. I definitely would recommend Bolding Mill as my #1 FAV (so far), Old Federal campground has been my second favorite. I definitely do not recommend River Forks! The campers/lots are literally only feet away, and just like I've read and reviews they come knocking before check out to make sure you are leaving in time! Not including the way the pavement and lots are set up, unless you have long steps that unfold, our experience with our particular lot was there was about a foot drop from the last step of our camper and there was a broken piece of concrete cement below to use that was already there as a way to help you step up or step down. Very very dangerous and I did not like that at all. Reminds me more of a ran down trashy trailer park at River Forks compared to the USACE campgrounds around lake lanier. Make sure if you're looking for a nice clean and spacious private lot for your RV or camper, that you create an account at recreation.gov and stick with the campgrounds that they provide and that are available through them and that website. Also they have discount passes for senior citizens and you're able to save 50%!
