We have camped at Bolding Mill several times over the last few years. However, this time when we arrived we were told we could not use our golf cart; there was nothing on the website or in my email confirmation rules and regulations saying that golf carts were not allowed; we brought it because I have issues with my hips and am unable to walk long distances, such as to the bathhouse. I do not have a disability note from my doctor because I’m not really considered disabled, I am just unable to walk long distances with the bursitis in my hips. Additionally, when we got to our site 10 we discovered that the 50 amp pole was not working and when we approached the camp host at the gate we were told there was nothing they could do for us and that the people that were on the site before us had no issues. We suspect the people before us were using the 30 amp. However, our motorhome requires 50 amp. A second trip to talk to the camp host at the gate, we ask them to contact the electrician who came and confirmed yes there was a problem with the 50 amp pole, however they didn’t show up again to repair it until a few minutes after we pulled off the site on our departure date. All in all, a disappointing trip to Bolding Mill this time. We’ll be back with hopes that things won’t be as bad.
