We stayed in site 72. The campsite was massive and was right on the lake with a beautiful view. We were trying to avoid hurricane Sally so we cut our stay short but would recommend it.

First time at Bolding Mill. Very friendly staff. Clean and spacious sites. Drinking water got a little muddy at times. Two large dump stations. Mostly flat campground...good for bike riding. Max of 3 cars at sites, but extra parking at beach area just outside gatehouse but inside gates...so pretty safe. Lake water is a little muddier than south lake. Fishing with kayak was pretty good. Large COE 3-ramp right outside gate. Not many restaurants close by. We love Old Federal but it closed for the season. I would say this is #2 COE campground on the lake. Really enjoyed and will go back again.
