One our favorite spots to relax.
The staff and host help make sure your spot is clean and ready when you get thereβ¦
Clean rest rooms and showers and you can get anything that you may have forgotten with just a short drive
We like to paddle all the the little coves and inlets and the only thing bad that I can say about this camp is the trash I find left behind by other βexplorersβ.
My kayak is always full of trash every time I return back to campβ¦sometimes I canβt fit it all.
So if your going to enjoy this gem of a campsiteβ¦please dispose of your trash properlyβ¦

This has been my absolute favorite campground so far and my first out of state campground! (Only a year in btw) Being right on the water was so awesome, I only wish there were a clearer path to put a kayak in right from my site (#6) but thereβs a rock wall, though Iβm sure some wouldnβt find that a difficult obstacle.
The breeze was so wonderful and when I was there I just about had the entire little cove to myself! The restroom was fine, though much older than the bathhouse restroom. I have another site booked later this year without the rock wall between me and the water so Iβm excited to go back!
The staff at the guard house was really sweet too. I wish they sold campground stickers though!

One gate attendant team are extremely friendly helpful and polite. The other team always make you feel you are intruding on them. You learn quickly when you can go to the gate house for any assistance or answers to questions. The campground is well maintained, bath houses always clean. Only recommendation would be to a/c the bathrooms.

Site was fine. We liked the paved roads so we could ride our bikes. Lake access from our site was rocky and muddy so we weren't able to swim there. We plan to visit more COE parks in the future.

All of the hosts and rangers we met were friendly, polite, and very helpful. It is a quiet, clean, lovely campground, and we are eager to return. The lake is fabulous. The campsites are level, big, on the lake, and many are shaded by trees.

Campsite very nice, level, and plenty of shade. The campground was nearly full, but so peaceful. The staff was friendly and courteous.
