Great family camping spot. Early October was not too hot or buggy, but still warm enough to swim at the beach area. Nice flat waterfront sites with hookups, fun playgrounds, easy dump station. Plenty of trees for hammocks, but sites close together, so not much privacy. I imagine summer would be uncomfortably hot, but fall was great!

It is very close to Clemson campus. We love camping here because gives us time with our son. He is a student at Clemson and feels like is the only time he has to relax .
