The campground was well maintained in general, typical of COE. Our site had not been raked and there were cigarette butts all around our pad. We are tenters so this was particularly nasty. The bathhouse was decent and clean enough. We found the sites to be pretty small with very little privacy at the location. It was quiet even though the campground was almost full.

Overall, very nice. I’ve been going to this campground since I was emcees little and have always loved it. The people are great and the hosts are super nice. They seriously need to update the showers, but everything else Is Fantastic!

Great campground! We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for Halloween weekend! The only thing that stood out to me on a negative note was that the women's room showers at the bathhouse near the boat launch were a little sketchy -- I'd definitely recommend shower shoes and something to stand on after you shower. It was odd because the rest of the bathroom was really clean. But overall a great experience.

Beautiful campground on Lake Hartwell from the GA side. Our site gace us a beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately, we only spent one night on our way back home, so we didn’t get to really explore the campground or the adjacent area.

Clean camping. Friendly hosts.
Seen an eagle in the tree, right outside our camper.
Hartwell, GA, is close by if you need anything you forgot (Walmart, Quality Foods, Ingles, Belks, Carto, Home Depot). Can’t forget DQ!

We stayed on site 28. The site itself was great. However since the water is so low the mares tail brush was so over grown and thick you could not access the water very well. It needs to be cut and maintained while the water is so low. So least you can enjoy the view from the site. We love this campground and we camp there 3or 4 times a year. But was disappointed this trip. Please do better maintaining the shore line while the water is so low.

Had a nice spot on the lake. Easy access. Good water pressure and no problems with power either. Lot was not level so required about 3-4” of blocks on one side but that’s not a real issue either.
My only complaint is they close and LOCK the gate at 10pm. You CAN NOT come or go after 10 pm. I guess if you have an emergency you have to wake the camp host up to get out. That is insane!!!!
