We love all the parks we stay at. The hostesses are always friendly and very helpful. The only thing that would make our stay better is if the showers were cleaned better. Sometimes there are the same dead bugs and trash on the floor the whole week or two that we stay. There is left over soap in the soap dish the entire time we are there.

I'll get right to the basics. Overall, USACE campgrounds are very well kept and staffed with friendly people. This experience, however, exposed some heavy flaws. We ran into a little delay getting in one night and went past the 10 pm mark when they lock the gate, having driven from 1 hour and 20 min away. Absolutely no way to get in touch with anyone (fatal flaw). No gate code offered to the campers. Me and my kids had to park on the road and carry our stuff to the site. 2) No wifi password in the paperwork. 3) Got a waterfront site but our path and view to the shore was terribly overgrown (like 6+ foot high impassable weeds). I would gladly pay a little more per trip and not have issues like this.

Super friendly attendees. Park is clean. Bathhouse is clean. We had to leave earlier than our planned stay. The attendee made sure I was refunded my unused day.

Watsadler is amazing!!! This is where my childhood friend and her Husband camp with their family, and they invited me to come camping with them this Summer. I fell in love with Watsadler! You are greeted with Southern Hospitality upon check in, and the campground is clean, peaceful, and beautiful. I can't say enough good about this Campground . . . highly recommend and look forward to my next visit. Thank you so much for such a wonderful camping experience . . . so grateful!

We loved the shaded sites, lake view, and short access from the main highway.
