Round Pond Retreat

Cute little camp ground perfect for a couples get away night or weekend. I would not call it family friendly. There was nothing for children to do. The pond was not good for swiming or fishing. It is for looks only. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. It was not as close to Chattanooga as advertised. I am not sure if we over hyped this place in our head which led to be a little disappointing or if it was just a little disappointing from the misleading descriptions. There was a few cool things to do around. Over all I would give it 3.5 out of 5.

Great campground! Loved the spacious and shaded camping spots. Quite and laid back. Convenient to town but not in town. Highly recommend and we plan to visit again! Campspot #12 If you want a restaurant recommendation, definitely visit - Wardlaw's Lucky Eye Q (get there early and get the brisket)

Lovely place. This is exactly what I am looking for in a campground/RV park. A simple, romantic, clean place to spend time with my motorhome. The bathrooms are clean with nice hot water. The owner is responsive and very friendly. I'll go again.

Absolutely adorable little campground. We stayed in site 1 which basically overlooks the whole campground. Two shower and restroom facilities placed near the tent sites and tiny house rentals. A great spring fed fishing pond that you can see from every site. It's such a relaxing peaceful place. Planning another visit soon.

Our group of 2 campers and 2 tent campers had a wonderful experience at Round Pond. We stayed for 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend. The campsites were very clean and nicely landscaped. It’s very obvious that Clay has put a tremendous amount of work into preserving this special campground. There is WiFi available free of charge to guests. The pond is just gorgeous. I wish it wasn’t so full of algae, but that is probably because of the early hot summer and very little rain over the last month. We brought our grandson and high hopes of doing some serious fishing but with all the algae, it is very hard to fish because of that! We did see some huge fish swimming in the shallows, so it has great potential.

Restrooms and shower houses were conveniently located around the campground and were very clean.
The campsites we were all using and electric and sewer hookup. Both lots were gravel and were fairly level.
