This is a great park with very nice facilities. We were in spot #18 near the new bathroom. Choose spot #6 for a nice spot near the lake.

Beautiful and peaceful camping!
We stayed here at end of October 2019. Great time of year to be here for quiet, peaceful camping. We were at site # 7. It was perfect! Literally had view of the lake at sunrise right in our "backyard". Across the road is site # 6 which is slightly better for view of the lake at sunset. The sites are big and you are not on top of other campers. Definitely enough room for a camper and a tent. This park is kept up very well and the bathrooms were heated and very clean. There are no laundry facilities but there is a laundromat close by in Blue Ridge. There is no official check-in. You just find your site and the staff will be driving around and see you are there. If you are a tent camper, there are plenty of lake front sites right on peninsula. Highly recommend this place!

This place is AMAZING. I have been here several times and will continue to come back. The campsite amenities are great. The fire pit setup is perfect. The bathrooms are cleaner and nicer than anywhere else. Love love love this place.
