If there were quiet hours, they were not enforced. The next camp site over from us was very roudy both nights until about 2 am, preventing us from getting sleep. Otherwise, a very nice campground, the bath house was very nice and had hot water.

The first 15 to 20 campsites are really good. The higher number of campsites are in need of some work.

Nice, clean, well run campground. The staff was excellent and friendly. Bathrooms/shower houses were clean and appeared fairly new. Lake was beautiful and we spent a lot of time on it in our kayaks. Special thanks to the staff who allowed us to leave the kayaks near the beach area when not in use. We have a small 18 ft camper and site 24 worked well for us . Sites above #27 are not set up very well for campers. Much better suited to tents. The only issue for me was all the fire pits I saw were like 3 ft deep, so we never had a camp fire.

Quiet peaceful campground with easy check-in and clean bathhouse. Good sites on the lakes, some with their own paths down to the water. Great recreation swimming area adjacent to the campground. We have been coming here for years and always enjoy our stay.

Camp ground at Morganton Point is well staffed with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The grounds are managed well and sites are all clean and ready for set up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our return trip to a tent camping site at Morganton Point. The campground is very well run, and we always appreciate the clean bathrooms and responsive staff. The check-in was smooth and efficient, and it was easy to restock ice or firewood as well as other items at the front office. It’s a gorgeous spot on the lake, and we love the variety of campsites. This campground itself is primarily about being on the water, but it’s also a great base for Blue Ridge and other North Georgia destinations.

Take U.S. Highway 515 north from Blue Ridge for 4 miles to Georgia Highway 60. Turn right (southwest) and continue 3 miles to the town of Morganton. In Morganton, turn right on County Road 616 (Lake Drive) and proceed for 1 mile. To enter the campground, take the first left after the Morganton Point entrance sign.
Morganton Point is accessible via U.S. Highway 515, which connects to Georgia Highway 60 in Morganton. The campground is approximately 4 miles from U.S. Highway 515.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
