Stayed here over a weekend with my son at tent site 6. This is the cleanest public campground I’ve seen. The facilities were dated but very clean. The staff makes rounds to check on campers every day. I highly recommend this campground.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The campground is very wooded and private but could use some upgrades. Overall it was a good experience. Be aware that there is ZERO cell service for miles.

Site #10 has many dead branches overhanging it. The picnic table is located on the tent pad so I had to pitch my tent next to the fire ring. This was also where all of the water drained from the rain.

Facilities were not as clean as in the past. Water value at #13 site is not functioning properly. Really are 60 ft RV allowed in this camping area? They do not belong there.

Very quiet campground with scenic lake and attractive sites. The fairly basic amenities (limited push-button showers in two bathrooms during the spring season, port-o-let only during the winter), out of the way location, and no cell service contributed to the quiet and peaceful atmosphere with most campers there to enjoy the lake or the nearby hiking.
