Perfect location. Site 101 was lakefront, level, easy access and a long parking pad. Good cell and WiFi signal. This site was more expensive so likely intended to be a group site as it had two electrical boxes. Definitely will be back.

Some decent hiking paths at the campground and FDR State Park is about 30 miles away for some more trails. If hiking the trails at the campground the turnoff for the Nature trail is before the backstop to the right. Following the sidewalk takes you to another trail that it meets up with though.
Lots of lake view sites.

Overnight on a cold weekday in January was good, had the place nearly to ourselves, all services worked as expected.
