I had a beautiful lakeside site with direct access to the water. They were working on the boat launch so the water level was extremely low. I did not need to use the bathroom or bathhouse, but they are in need of renovation. The staff at the gatehouse was extremely friendly and outgoing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that at 7:20 am the tree maintenance contractor started cutting down a tree right next to my site using chainsaws. It was extremely loud and extremely inconsiderate due to the early start. I don't know that the campground has any control over this. It took about 45 minutes to clear the tree and debris (using heavy equipment and loud blowers). When I spoke with the gatehouse they were not aware this was happening.

Beautiful setting full of serenity. The host were very warm and accommodating during our visit
We definitely will be returning for a much longer stay next time for it is on our list of most favored places.
