Great site. Staff was very friendly which was a refreshing change from previous visits! The only thing I was unhappy with was the size of the area to our tents. I understand we can’t put them on the grass, but it would be nice to have a larger tent pad as we couldn’t even use the fire pit once the tent was up.

Great place ( even in the rain). Bathrooms could use some updating as could done of drainage at sites. Overall worth a visit.

Cicada’s were deafening during the day while we were there. Turkey buzzards came in the mornings by the lake and actually damaged our boat in the water behind our trailer. It is a beautiful park, but the driveways are very narrow and there can be a 6-8 in drop off on the edge of the pavement. Picnic tables aren’t always in good places. Ours was on the wrong side of the trailer. Otherwise the park is well maintained and it is near LaGrange and WestPoint for dining and supplies.
