Besides the road noise and little kids peeing by the tents the campground was beautiful as were the RV sites.

Don't wash your vehicle here or you will get a nasty gram from the ranger. When you arrive remove any trash in the fire pit that previous campers left or you will get a nasty gram from the ranger.

For the life of me Iβll never understand why the COE closes these campgrounds in the Fall. Who cares if they drain the lake. Not everyone wants to camp and build a fire in the South when itβs hades hot, a million% humidity and the mosquitos try to eat you alive. Even the camp hosts donβt understand it. Government, smh.
McKinney is our go-to but itβs closed for renovations but Victoria was ok. Not much privacy between sites but it was acceptable for last minute especially since itβs only 15 minutes from home.

Great campground, clean with big sites. The attendants were helpful and very strict on people visiting which itβs nice to know they are watching out for the campers.
