Kahua Kuou Campsite is one of the most beautiful spots on Oahu. Located inside the Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden, it’s surrounded by stunning green mountains and a peaceful lake. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing — perfect for connecting with nature. Everything is clean and well maintained, with convenient areas for tents and parking. It’s an amazing place to unwind, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the natural beauty of Hawaii. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and breathtaking views, this campsite is absolutely worth a visit.

Toller Campingplatz, allerdings würde ich nicht noch mal Platz Nr. 8 nehmen. Das Licht der Toilette leuchtet die ganz Nacht ins Zelt. Ansonsten ist alle andere Plätze toll. Es gibt Toiletten, Duschen und ein Geschirr Spühlbecken. Ausserdem hat jeder Platz 2 Picknickbänke und eine Feuerstelle. Ab 16Uhr sind nur noch Camper im Park und man kann ohne Autoverkehr durch den Park laufen.
Nachts hört man leider die Strasse aber auch viele Vögel.
Zu Beachten ist, dass man nach einem Ausflug außerhalb des Parks, vor 18:30Uhr zurück sein muss,da die Schranke am Eingang des Parkes dann verschlossen wird.
Wir hatten tolle Tage hier. Das Personal war super nett und hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen
