This camping trip was my first at Rainbow Point. I thoroughly enjoyed the site being right on the lake. We experienced a strong thunderstorm with a tremendous amount of rain and hail. Our site turned into a lake and streams. It created quite a mess. The following day was all about drying out. We only saw the campground host twice in 5 days. The restroom was decently clean but getting full. Overall a good experience.

Good open spot. It’s not a very excluded site since you’re on the inside of the loop in view of 3 other sites and close to the road. But in comparison to most other campgrounds on the lake, this one has a good amount of tree cover and forest feel. Room for a second tent if needed, Great Lake/beach access still.

Fishing for Perch was fantastic.....Campground will get better as the summer goes on. Clean up needed from spring tree trimming...campers will make quick work of what's on the ground. Weather was dang near perfect...crisp mornings and a light breeze in the afternoon.
