When we arrived on 8/12 at 5 pm, our reserved site at #10 was occupied by other campers who refused to leave stating they were there first. The camp host was not there all night, and there was no cell service to call the sheriff. We stayed at another reserved site which was unoccupied and hoped that the people holding the reservation did not show, in which case we would have moved. Bad deal.

Love this little spot, this is the second time we’ve stayed here, small but love that because it’s always been quiet!! Don’t even see the other campers!

Wonderful camp ground in the Gem state. Recommend hiking the Weiser river trail. Lots of shade in spot 12.

Evergreen is a lovely little campground. It is quite noisy during the day with road noise, but much quieter at night. I had no trouble sleeping. Each camp site is surprisingly private. The campground conveniently adjoins the Weiser River trail with miles and miles of good, easy hiking. Although I never saw the campground hosts in the three days I was there, the pit toilets and camp sites were immaculate.

Well cared for campground. Nice tent sites. Right off the highway and the truck traffic is noticeable.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. Really calm environment. All the other campers were very respectful and friendly and there weren’t any Roudy campers at night. I didn’t get a chance to meet the caretaker but the campground was always well maintained. The highway traffic never kept me awake. I honestly never noticed it until the occasional trucker came by. Picnic bench and fire ring seemed to be at every lot. The Weiser Trail is really worth exploring if you enjoy walking/hiking. It’s peaceful and has great views and I believe it’s around 38 miles long as well. I recommend this campground to anyone looking for a place to camp that’s simple to find.

The camp host keeps everything immaculate! She’s pretty low profile but you can see how hard she works keeping the brush cut, the outhouses clean (and deodorized!!) and the camp sites picked up. She deserves 5⭐️ !
