Very nice park. Bathrooms kept clean and hosts were friendly, spaces not as far apart as some other parks. C10 was a pull thru, which was fine but next to a cut-thru path that was mere feet from the front of our truck and spot so there was a lot of traffic. Could easily hear camper’s conversing next to us.

We really love this camp ground Janet our camp host is a wonderful lady she’s always helpful one year our cord didn’t extend long enough she had a spare longer cord she borrowed us . The only complaint would be the roads going to the loops are terrible!

Camp hosts came by about every 2 hour to inspect. In all my camping experiences of 30 years, I have never seen this. One time the dog was leash was too long. Another, our fire was to high, (never saw him with a tape measure though), another time, my son and his wife came up for dinner. The camp host said we had one hour for them to eat or we would have to pay for an additional parking pass. Another time to check my PAPERS (Senior Park Pass). I had left it in my other car but had an email from the USGS of my Lifetime purchase. BUT nooooo that was not acceptable. I had to have a card to show him. Yup…. that cost me an additional $30. When I asked him various questions he had no answers. He would say…… “I don’t know, I just work here”. What a stupid answer. The Contractor hired by the Park Service for the Buffalo Campground needs to retrain their hosts. Give people the space they originally came for when camping.

The camp host Janet was just the absolute best and we really enjoyed our stay in both her loops!! Thank you so much for your hospitality! And great blacktop loops!! Both my kiddos learned to ride their bikes without training wheels at Buffalo….so we will forever have that memory! We Live in a very hilly neighborhood and now the kids want to move back to Buffalo! 😆 so fun!!
What a magical road trip from Seattle Washington! ❤️
