What Guests Are Saying
Flat Rock Campground in Island Park offers a clean, well-maintained environment with a friendly camp host who is dedicated to keeping the area organized and safe. Many campers appreciate the beautiful, shaded sites and proximity to outdoor activities, including access to the Henry’s Fork and Yellowstone National Park. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment regarding the rudeness of the camp host and issues with cleanliness, such as overflowing garbage and bathroom conditions. Overall, it remains a popular choice for its location and amenities, despite some concerns.

Centrally located in Island Park. Good place for a couple nights stay. Watch out for those overhead branches. Make sure if you are in Loop B and coming from West Yellowstone you take the 2nd entrance, not the one down by the bridge.

Clean campground I’ve been to many times and usually enjoy. The host this year was just rude multiple times and ruined the entire experience. Will probably not be back.

Stinky bathrooms, bad but other than that, a nice place to stay.

Nice level long campsites. Shady, limited cellular. Camp host keeps things clean, but is very bear aware, so very anxious about materials outside your camper.
As others have mentioned, road noise is significant.

Great location, nice sites, most are heavily treed … some sites reservable, some with water and electricity. Others are “First Come”. Very convenient to access Mack’s Inn area and for floating the Henry’s Fork - you can literally take out by the campground. However, road noise from Hwy 20 is significant.
