What Guests Are Saying
Flat Rock Campground in Island Park offers a clean, well-maintained environment with a friendly camp host who is dedicated to keeping the area organized and safe. Many campers appreciate the beautiful, shaded sites and proximity to outdoor activities, including access to the Henry’s Fork and Yellowstone National Park. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment regarding the rudeness of the camp host and issues with cleanliness, such as overflowing garbage and bathroom conditions. Overall, it remains a popular choice for its location and amenities, despite some concerns.

Dan and Annie were by far the best camp host we have experienced. This was our first time going to the Yellowstone area and they made the campground top notch. Lots of help and we would visit again any time.

Flatrock is a very nice campground. The sites are far apart and so you have privacy. The electric sites are a real plus. The camp hosts were really wonderful, making our stay(s) very pleasant. They kept the restrooms clean and well-stocked. The only draw back of this campground is the noise from the highway. A lot of big trucks using exhaust breaks at all times of the day and night.
