What Guests Are Saying
Flat Rock Campground in Island Park offers a clean, well-maintained environment with a friendly camp host who is dedicated to keeping the area organized and safe. Many campers appreciate the beautiful, shaded sites and proximity to outdoor activities, including access to the Henry’s Fork and Yellowstone National Park. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment regarding the rudeness of the camp host and issues with cleanliness, such as overflowing garbage and bathroom conditions. Overall, it remains a popular choice for its location and amenities, despite some concerns.

great place to camp. The water was messed up with too much chlorine in the water. Maintenance was flushing the system out and fixed before we left. I book a site here every year for a week. Will return again next year.

Fabulous place to stay! Bring the water toys, sun block and enjoy floating down the river. It is also about 30 minutes away from Yellowstone NP.

Restrooms clean, camp site spacious, lots of shade at most sites. Be prepared for street noise since it is just off of the highway.

I have camped in that area for many years. This was the worst campground hostess we have ever had. She not once said hello to me or my family. When we arrived there was no one in the campground host campsite. After we parked our trailer, we discovered smoke and a smoldering campfire and trash in the pit in our site. There was trash in the site and the campground. The campground had obviously not been cared for. We were there almost a week and never did we see the campground host care for any site or the campground itself. We went to throw our trash away and the host was walking her dogs. We found the trash was full so my wife asked when they would be emptied, and she never did answer.
