What Guests Are Saying
Mountain View campground offers a beautiful setting by the South Fork of the Payette River, with generous, well-maintained sites and easy river access. Many visitors appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views, along with nearby hiking options. However, there were concerns about the camp host's lack of attentiveness to facilities, particularly regarding cleanliness and supplies, as well as noise from nearby traffic.

We go every year around June for remembrance of my sister. She loved this campground and enjoyed watching the rafters and kayakers. We also enjoy the campground hosts. They are very friendly and always have the best stories to tell.

We stayed 3 nights. The site was clean and by the river. But the bathroom was dirty and ran out of toilet paper. And the trash bins were overflowing as well with bags laid on top of containers. Camp host had a trailer set up but their truck was NEVER there. Never saw them once in 3 days.

One of our favorite campgrounds ever... peaceful, sites right on the river, and a healthy amount of both sun and shade! Can't beat it! Clean bathrooms, happy dogs throughout, and the tranquility we were seeking.

We spent two days here near the river.
It was pleasant camping, the road noise was minimal. We could hear the river.
There is a camp host here. RVs can fit here too. Sites here can be reserved, some are FSCG though. It is a clean campground with garbage containers and pit toilets. Water is available.

#14- Great spot. Perfect little private beach/ swimming hole. They have improved the tent site area as well. Always a good stay @ MV.
