Nice campsites at elevation in the mountains. The lake is scenic, but we prefer hanging out on lovely Goose Creek below the dam.

The lady camp host was outstanding she was very pleasant and very helpful. The toilets were the cleanest I have ever seen in a forest service campground. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was there are not really good places to pitch a tent. The ground was sloped and bumpy. We were hoping that the campground had the nice sand filled tent pads we have enjoyed in other campgrounds. We ended up setting the tent up in the hard packed gravel parking area. There was no way to put tent pegs in the ground so we anchored the tent with rocks. Everything else there was very serviceable. We enjoyed kayaking the lake. The camp host was friendly and knowledgeable.

Campsite and restroom were well taken care of, and camp host was super friendly and helpful. She directed us to leftover firewood and also lake access. Goose Lake access is very close and easy to get to. We would definitely stay again!

Great campground. However, most other campsites were having campfires despite the fire ban.
