Charming campground with lots of trees and shade. Our campsite (003) had a little stream running through it. Host was very helpful and got more wood within a few hours. Cold, rainy and stormy the weekend we were there but it just made for a great adventure!

The camp post Bruce was amazing. He was so nice. The last 3 years had camp posts that were the worst of the 35 plus years we have been going. So nice to have a great camp post again.

Beautiful area. Kids had a blast, even with the downpour. Our tents ended up with puddles so we crammed into one trailer and had an adventure. Great trails and wildlife. Loved the little stream through our site

The campground was a fun place. I really liked not having anyone behind us and feeling like we had the entire mountain to ourselves.

We were traveling back to Idaho and this was a perfect place to spend the night. The trees and the cooler weather were a welcome relief from heat. The camp host was outstanding! He did much more than I would expect to enhance our stay. Truly an asset!!

The campground was better than ever! And my family has been visiting Emigration for 46 years now. The camp host (Bruce) was accommodating and helpful. There was nothing but good to say about our stay. We were there 10 days and enjoyed every one of them. Water as clean and plentiful. The bathrooms have never smelled and looked cleaner. The camp sites were well maintained and improved over last year. Thanks Rob, the improvements you made will keep my family coming back for many years.

The new camp host was one of the best we have had in a long time! He was so friendly, so attentive, and kept the bathrooms look great. If I was to complain, it would to bring back SOAP for the bathrooms, even if it is the cheaper refillable kind. I’ve brought our own up for the week we stay, so everyone enjoys it, because it gets used. Other than that, it was great, and it was great to have the water on all the time, last year was a joke! Great job on the camp ground host!

The camp host Bruce was the best! Everything was so clean, and he was so friendly and welcoming. We had water the entire time, running toilets, it was great!
The negatives were about the camp site we were in which was Number 12.
1. There was no where to put a tent as all the spots had fallen trees in them- like huge trunks so there was no way to move them. The tiny spot that was available was so lumpy with uneven ground and rocks. We we ended up putting our tent on the gravel- which made it hard to sleep.
2. The next was the amount of stinging nettle In the site - that was a huge problem. We were limited in where we even sat - couldn’t use the table because of how much nettle was around it, and used the fire pit one after we got a shovel and cleared the nettle out around it.
3. The fire pit. New gravel had been placed around it, but it wasn’t leveled at all- it made sitting by the fire dangerous, especially for the kids because the chairs were lopsided due to the uneven ground around it.
All in all- the camp host was nice and the running water was great, but the site and the maintenance of the site were terrible.
