My brother and I enjoyed the great location next to the restrooms. We were in campsite 28 in a tent. It was very peaceful and there the natural surroundings were a welcome mat for a variety of wildlife: deer, turkeys, and other birds were there fairly often. It felt less a part of "cookie cutter" campsites. We both really enjoyed the view looking below to the reservoir and playground. Bathrooms were kept clean, and some others mentioned the solvent smell was strong in there at times, so I waited a while and never experienced any discomfort to my nose or eyes. Great place to get out and enjoy nature!

One of the very best parks we’ve stayed at! We’ve been all over the country and Dent is one of the nicest places es ever! FHU, good distance between sites, asphalt roads and immaculate grounds and facilities.

Very clean sites All pull through. Clean restrooms and showers.

Showers were excellent. Facility was clean and beautiful views! Sites were nicely placed and large.

Dent Acres is a beautiful campground on a terrace, most sites overlooking the reservoir, well spaced and level. The site description of the difficulty reaching this campground from the next major highway is well pointed out, however we still didn't expect the many curves and steep grades of the road. Most campers here were boaters. Only disappointment was that there was no easy access to the water except the boat pier.

From Hwy 12: Cross the bridge at Orofino and turn left onto Hwy 7. Travel 200 yards and turn right on Dent Bridge Road and travel 19 miles. At the sign for the campground, turn left. Campground is 2 miles ahead.
Dent Acres is accessible via Hwy 12 and Hwy 7, which are the primary routes leading to the campground.
