Many visitors appreciate the relaxing environment, ample wildlife, and excellent access to fishing and boating. Love this campground. Views are great, good hiking and a boat ramp for Dworshak. Camp hosts were great.
Have noticed that for several sites the sewer connection was too high for our RV, which is on the low side for
the discharge valve. This site also has several kinds of fruit trees in season, as well as some blackberries.
The road in is not great for large rigs with toads, but decent for most RVs.

Clean, well maintained campground with a great rate.
Road in was fun to drive, but not recommended for larger rigs.
I love steep, twisty narrow roads, but if that puts you off this is not a site you would want to visit.

This is a beautiful campground. The one thing I’d say is that the road to it, although paved, is long, and very windy and frankly kind of a pain to get to.

Very wonderful time. Enjoyed the ability to have a large group camp site. Just wish we didn't have to go all the way to Orofino for ice, I thought there used to be ice available at the host area.
