Group campsite had great views and plenty of seclusion. Plenty of room for a large group and it has nice access to trails.

Beautiful area. We had fun doing a little hiking in the forest. Crying babies at night, but that couldn't be helped. Fairly clean restrooms. Our 12 man tent wouldn't fit on the tent sight, so we had to put it on the gravel. But, it was a good experience.

Our family had a great time camping here over the weekend. Excellent place to ride 4-wheeler’s, take hikes, enjoy the scenery. Our camp host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. Best camp hosts yet.

Great camping area at the end of the road. Good trails for walking and a nice creek nearby. Was an easy drive into Lava Hot Springs for the day. Campsite well kept, vault restrooms were some of the cleanest we had seen. Will be back.

Beautiful and clean. The sites are already leveled, made it super easy to set up. Some sites had pavilions, benches and tables. Camp host let us use atvs at 5mph through camp. Bathrooms were kept clean, No spiders or awful smell. I would go back again.

We LOVE Big Springs and have been going there for 10+ years. Unfortunately a box of rocks could do a better job at communicating than the camp host. We clearly woke them up from a nap around 2 p.m. when we just wanted to ask a few questions, she was instantly upset and telling us what we couldn't do, when all we were doing was asking questions about a few 1st come 1st serve sights (we already had 4 reserved sights). She said how hard it was to do books and was charging my parents with a Senior Pass $7.50/night when the sign clearly said $7.00/night because she had no change. Which didn't matter because we had $14 to pay for 2 nights. We did pay $15 because she couldn't understand that we didn't need change and we didn't want anymore confrontation. She did tell us quite time was from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. then campers in the group sight kept their generator on all night and all day. Just a little frustrating when its suppose to be quite and the host did nothing to stop it.
We plan on returning as always but hopefully with new camp host!

Just east of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, look for "Pebble Area" sign and turn left onto Blaser Highway/Old Highway 30. Go north on the paved highway 9 miles to Pebble Creek Road, known locally as Mike's Place or Whiskey Mike's. Turn left across railroad tracks on gravel Forest Road 036. Travel about 7 miles to the campground.
Pebble Creek Road is a narrow single-lane dirt road with limited sight distance and not suitable for the very large RVs (the tour bus size RVs that require overhead clearance due to their height and have limited turning capacity due to length, as opposed to a truck with trailer of the same length which has a tighter turning radius due to the hitch).
