Host was a bit grumpy. No worries though. Thought it was a bit rough that we were a couple of inches off the blacktop and had to move when the extra parking lot for boat trailers wasn’t even paved.

Good, good good. Nice weather / little smoke & respectful campers everywhere. We only had ONE super loud late night thunder boomer. Excellent.
Did not visit Idaho State parks, they are discriminating against the rest of US with their DOUBLED fees. :(
The US forest service should perhaps have QR codes at all reserved sites so campers know exactly when a site is available for peeps wanting a quick stay unannounced. The little marker signs & giant camp ground full signs can be WRONG at any moment of time. :(

From I-90, east or west, turn at Post Falls, Idaho on Highway 41 going north
to Newport, Washington. Take Highway 2 east to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn left at the stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 miles to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 miles to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 miles to the campground.
From Sandpoint, Idaho, take Highway 2 west 22 miles to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn right at stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 miles to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 miles to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 miles to the campground.
Luby Bay is accessible via Highway 2, which connects to I-90 via Highway 41 to the south. Highway 57 intersects with Highway 2 in Priest River, providing access to the campground.
