We had a very nice time at Luby Bay, stayed in the lower campground. The sites were mostly spaced out nicely, in a wooded area. There are flush toilets, no showers, fire ring, picnic table, several potable water stations and trash cans throughout the campground. The hosts were polite and keep the campground clean and stocked. Firewood for $7 a bundle. Dump station located in upper campground for $8. The Hill's Resort restaurant was delicious about a mile up the road, with a live music bonus. They also offer rental equipment.

I really Iike this campground. It’s not fancy but that keeps the luxury campers away lol. It has flush toilets and water spigots. The lake is close by and there are LOTS of wonderful trees. I like that.

Beautiful site as always. Staff was outstanding as well. Verizon service was mostly nonexistent this time. Power was out to the whole West side of the lake resulting in no toilets for most of a day. These issues weren’t the fault of the campground so I still recommend Luby Bay.

As always, a beautiful place to camp. But we were surprised our Golden pass didn't work on the double site. Both couples are seniors and had passes, no explanation when asked why.

From I-90, east or west, turn at Post Falls, Idaho on Highway 41 going north
to Newport, Washington. Take Highway 2 east to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn left at the stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57...

to Newport, Washington. Take Highway 2 east to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn left at the stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 mi to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 mi to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 mi to the campground.
From Sandpoint, Idaho, take Highway 2 west 22 mi to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn right at stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 mi to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 mi to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 mi to the campground.

Luby Bay is accessible via Highway 2, which connects to I-90 via Highway 41 to the south. Highway 57 intersects with Highway 2 in Priest River, providing access to the campground.
