Trash all around dumpster. Fees for everything, that was not the case in the past. Dumping cost, day use cost even though you already paid increased camping fee.😒

Great camping, although the camp host is what what we’d call a “a host nazi” totally in your business, to much. He yelled at our guests that were Up from Florida and didn’t quite know parking rules. Total horrible person. Needs to go! We’ve been going there for years and this host who is in charge of lower and middle camp sites is a horrible person such an assails!

Great beach, good shade trees, & nice privacy in between sites. The upper loop is a pretty far walk to the beach—especially for young kids. Was disappointed to learn you had to pay an additional $8 in order to drive and park at the beach. Would be better if your site reservation would include parking in the day use area.

Great experience……Clifford the camp host was terrific. Very helpful, pleasant. Kudos to him and his wife. The site was clean, bathrooms adequate….. best of all the lake is clean, clear and warm.

Getting There
From I-90, east or west, turn at Post Falls, Idaho on Highway 41 going north
to Newport, Washington. Take Highway 2 east to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn left at the stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57...

to Newport, Washington. Take Highway 2 east to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn left at the stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 mi to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 mi to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 mi to the campground.
From Sandpoint, Idaho, take Highway 2 west 22 mi to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn right at stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 mi to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 mi to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 mi to the campground.

Luby Bay is accessible via Highway 2, which connects to I-90 via Highway 41 to the south. Highway 57 intersects with Highway 2 in Priest River, providing access to the campground.
