If you stay at the upper loop plan on walking or you can pay $8 extra to use day use parking for the beach. Been coming to this spot for years and never had to pay for day use. This year the camp host were rude when I asked why we had to pay extra. I have told them that it was always included with my stay. Other than that it’s a beautiful place to camp. Get to the beach early since the sun goes behind the trees around 2 pm unless it is really hot then the shade is very much welcoming.

Of course it's beautiful but other things contributed to a wonderful experience: friendly, respectful neighbors; clean campground and restrooms; cheerful and helpful hosts; and close proximity to many fun and interesting sights and activities.

Priest Lake is awesome. Campground is in rough shape with downed timber and branches. Needs to be cleaned up. Camp hosts were fine. Dump station is now automated and requires credit/debit card.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. We were very very lucky to get a site on lower Livy. They are most difficult to get.

to Newport, Washington. Take Highway 2 east to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn left at the stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57...

to Newport, Washington. Take Highway 2 east to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn left at the stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 mi to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 mi to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 mi to the campground.
From Sandpoint, Idaho, take Highway 2 west 22 mi to Priest River. At the junction of Highways 57 and 2, turn right at stop light (there is only one in town) onto Highway 57. Go 28.5 mi to Lamb Creek Village. Turn right on Luby Bay Road. Go 1.5 mi to the stop sign. Turn left on W. Lake Shore Road and proceed 0.5 mi to the campground.

Luby Bay is accessible via Highway 2, which connects to I-90 via Highway 41 to the south. Highway 57 intersects with Highway 2 in Priest River, providing access to the campground.
