It was really nice campground except for having to pay for day use but the lake even though we had already paid for camping. Definitely should be included for campers

Site #23 had a good view of the lake and was fairly level. Bathrooms were nice and clean with running water and flush toilets. The trail along the lake to Hill's resort was fantastic (it's about 1 mile each way). Just before the resort there are some storyboards about the history of the early settlers. There is also a museum at the same location with restrooms. The museum was closed each time we went by (needs volunteers to man it).

While the site is unmatched, the facility wasn’t well maintained. No TP in the men’s bathroom lower level is unforgivable. Paying for dump station that is fouled up by guests is unacceptable.

Great campgrounds! Not to close together. Nice wooded area, cool during hot weather.
