Very nice, clean, well organized area for OHV use. Sites are mostly level with covered patio areas which is good since there are no trees and no shade in the camping area. Access to the dunes is easy and having the lake nearby is great. We enjoyed our overnight stay here. If you are an early to bed person bring your earplugs. The night riders head out at 10pm and return about 3am when they relive their adventures and enjoy social time.

Didn’t have camp-host No dumpsters and the garbage overflowing all the time. The dump station was closed down without a close access.
Dillon was pleasant and helpful.

This was the best experience we have ever had at Egin Lakes! We have been going to this area for 35 years. This was the first year that we were able to reserve a spot ahead of time. For many years, it has felt that something might just be a little off when it came to arriving and trying to get a spot in the facility. The new camp area host (Dillon) was very friendly and able to answer questions and help with anything that we needed. He also seemed to be hands off when we didn't need him which was nice. The restrooms were kept clean and stocked. I saw people attending to them every day. The whole experience was just incredible. The entire facility was amazing and I can't wait to return.

Great Campground! Very wide, plenty of room for all of your toys at the sand dunes.

I really hate you going to reservations. You apparently have to reserve years in advance or you cannot get your preferred site(s) for a full week - every one of our preferred sites were already taken on Friday and Saturday or Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so we could only reserve Monday thru Thursday or Monday through Wednesday - that is not fair for those of us that come for a week. I have been coming to Egin Lakes every year to twice a year ever since 1994 (long before you built the facilities - the facilities do make it much better and we love it). I was even more different this year because Sand Crab wasn't there to take care of everything. The Parts and Recks gentlemen was very nice and did keep the bathrooms with toilet paper (except it was empty when we first got there on Monday morning). We will keep coming but I emphasize that I hate the reservations.
