What Guests Are Saying
Boulder Campground offers a fantastic camping experience with clean, well-maintained facilities and friendly, helpful hosts who enhance the stay. Campers appreciate the beautiful views, spacious sites, and well-kept shower houses. While some noted the lack of water hookups at each site and occasional bug issues, the overall atmosphere is peaceful and enjoyable, making it a favorite destination for many.

We stay here often. Everything is perfect EXCEPT we have neighbors that don't know what "light pollution" is...their campsites are lit up like a Chinese junk with LED lights..5 gallon buckets that act as lamps, LED palm trees, and string lights that "Surround" their campsite...What is WORSE is that this particular camper had some kind of device that I normally see at Christmas that projects blinking lights into the trees...all the trees near and far look as if they are raining light and blinking. IMPOSSIBLE to just look out my window and enjoy nature. It wouldn't be so bad if they would go off at 10PM..but they were on a timer and didn't go off until 4:20AM!..If there is a "quiet" time, their needs to be a "dark" time. If Boulder doesn't get a handle on this, I will not be a customer much longer. Why people want to turn campsites into the homes is beyond me....a policy about light pollution is needed NOW..!!!!

We love the Boulder Rec area!
It is so clean and great location.
Only thing they could change would be the closing date. Wish it was open year round or at least longer.

There are holes in the pavement where people have not used some sort of protection for the pavement.

The campground is well maintained. Nice fire rings and picnic tables at each site. Sites along the lake tended to be windy, inner loops not as much. Camping loop roads are two way so the approach can be different for sites in the same loop. Campground hosts are professional, polite, and have good awareness.
